Marilia Vianna is a Lawyer who supports clients through all stages of the migration process. She assists with visa applications, prepares matters for merits review before the Administrative Review Tribunal and judicial review before the Federal Court, and works closely with clients to address complex migration and citizenship issues. Marilia also conducts legal research and contributes to a wide range of migration matters.
Originally from Brazil, Marilia practised as a qualified lawyer in commercial and international trade law before moving to Australia. While completing her legal studies in Australia, she gained valuable experience through internships in migration, commercial, and intellectual property law, and worked as a paralegal in personal injury.
Marilia holds a Bachelor of Laws from Brazil, as well as a Juris Doctor and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Bond University. She was admitted to practice by the Supreme Court of Queensland in June 2025.
Having personally navigated the journey of studying in Australia and pursuing permanent residency, Marilia understands the challenges her clients face. This experience drives her passion for migration law and her commitment to helping others achieve their goals with clarity and confidence.
Marilia is fluent in English and Portuguese and is also proficient in Spanish, allowing her to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Outside of work, she is an active member of the Latin community and enjoys attending salsa and samba classes and social events.
